Top 10 Holiday Songs Sure to Bring You Cheer and Joy

Hot Cocoa. Fresh Snow. And an open fire. What more could put you in the holiday mood? How about some holiday jams? From *NSYNC to George Michael, here are the top 10 holiday songs that are sure to bring you cheer and joy this season.

10.)  Justin Bieber - Mistletoe

Yes, we know... it's Justin Bieber. Yes, we know... it's a ridiculously cheesy song. But what are the holidays without a little cheese (and Mistletoe)? Once those bells start ringing at the beginning of the track, we know you won't be able to stop humming along.

9.) Backstreet Boys - "Christmas Time"

We couldn't have a top 10 list without the Backstreet Boys. Their holiday classic, "Christmas Time" is the perfect one to share with the one you want to cuddle with.

8.) Britney Spears - "My Only Wish (This Year)"

Classic Britney! This song by the forever "Princess of Pop" lifts you up from the very first note. Santa, we have indeed been good this year so please play this song again!

7.) Donny Hathaway - "This Christmas"

A classic by a legend. This Donny Hathaway hit was made popular again by Chris Brown for his film, "This Christmas". But there's nothing like the original (with an incredible story about its inception), and it sounds just as great as when it was released in 1970.

6.) *NSYNC - "Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays"

Giant, baggy clothes? Gary Coleman? Justin Timberlake with curly hair? It was be *NSYNC's classic holiday anthem. Whether you celebrate Christmas or something else, this song will have you repeating the chorus over and over again.

5.) Dean Martin - "Let it Snow"

When the weather outside is frightful, put this song on and you'll feel just delightful. It'll even make you want to say, "Let it snow. Let it snow. Let it snow."

4.) Mariah Carey - "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)"

Mariah Carey as A LOT of hits, but not only that, she's got a lot of holiday hits on lock down. Even though this was originally done by the amazing Darlene Love (a classic), Miss Carey's version is the modern classic. Listening to this song makes you instantly feel like the holiday season has officially begun.

3.) Bing Crosby - "White Christmas"

Bing Crosby. White Christmas. What more do we need to say?

2.) Wham! - "Last Christmas"

That hair. The scarves. The smolder. The first notes immediately make you sway back and forth. Though it tells a surprisingly sad story, this holiday hit by George Michael and Wham! is a pop hit that will go down in history as one of the most classic of holiday classics.

1.) Marian Carey - "All I Want for Christmas Is You"

Our #1 and #2 are so close because they're so iconic, BUT ultimately, there's no competition. Since its release in 1994, this song has remained the song of the holidays. It's been covered many times by many artists throughout the years, but no one does it like Mariah. The Diva of all Divas has the #1 top holiday song that makes you instantly feel that the holidays are officially here.
