Jay-Z is Back to Business with "Family Feud"

Jay-Z debuts a star-studded video that is more short film than video, exclusively on Tidal

Jay-Z continues to show us why he's not just an amazing artist but one of the savviest entrepreneurs around. His latest album, 4:44, is already nominated for 8 Grammy Awards this year. While most artists would be not just ecstatic but content with that achievement, Jay-Z is not one of those individuals. With new albums released every day now, he understands that in order to achieve both praise and sales, the story has to continue to be told so that it continues to stay relevant. That's why he's made sure that this album doesn't only appeal to the ears but also the eyes. Every single Hova has released off of this album has come with out-of-this-world videos, and the newest one, "Family Feud" might be his most epic yet.

With a star-studded cast including:  Michael B. Jordan, Trevante Rhodes, Thandie Newton, Jessica Chastain, Irene Bedard,  Omari Hardwick, David Oyelowo, Emayatzy Corinealdi, America Ferrera, Aisha Hinds, Henry G. Sanders, and Storm Reid, the star of Wrinkle in Time. Additionally, the “founding mothers”, feature, Rashida Jones, Rosario Dawson, Constance Wu, Mindy Kaling, Janet Mock, Brie Larson, Niecy Nash, and Susan Kelechi Watson. Oh and you best believe that the Queen herself, Beyoncé is this. And did we mention this nearly 8 minute epic is also directed by Academy Award-nominated director, Ava DuVernay?

Here's the biggest kicker - the recently released video... it's currently only  available on TIDAL, the subscription-based streaming music service that Jay-Z also owns. In today's competition-high atmosphere where companies will do almost anything to get and retain users (consumers), he's proven himself to know what it takes to stay on top. He's making sure that he's not only one of the best artists out there but that he's not a businessman. He's a business, man.
